What does messenger contact involve?
With a phone-number messenger, your number and conversation become part of the communication. Ask who has access, how reservations are handled and whether another contact channel is available. A popular platform cannot replace understandable privacy information.
Is a full name required?
That depends on the process and applicable obligations. Ask why requested information is needed rather than assuming either complete anonymity or a universal ID requirement. Do not send unnecessary identity copies, employer details or information about other people.
What should privacy information explain?
The responsible party, purposes, recipients, retention and your rights should be understandable. European data-protection guidance explains these transparency requirements. A privacy logo or a claim of total discretion does not prove the actual practice.
Photographs, cameras and private spaces
Check the rules on recording and cameras. Do not photograph guests or staff without permission or share private information. For a home visit, the use of your address is part of the discussion too.
Can absolute secrecy be guaranteed?
An unconditional promise for every situation would be unrealistic. Ask about concrete processes: which data is needed, who sees it and when is it deleted? A concise enquiry and clear answers are more useful than a slogan.
